We offer wow-factor science parties for a unique and exciting experience that will guarantee your child’s party is the “best party ever!”. Sparks, slime, explosions and more. Plus they are great value for parents as well as great value for kids.
Mats are provided so there is no need to worry about mess. Age guidelines are suggestions only, please feel free to choose the package you think will suit your child best.

Crazy Chemical Celebration
Approximately 45 minutes, Recommended for ages 3-8 –
- Potions and eruptions
- Every child makes slime to take home
- Bubbles with a very special surprise
- A certificate for every child with their own science name
The most creative of our parties, the Crazy Chemical Celebration kicks off with some wow-factor chemical reactions, with the birthday child becoming the assistant and helping with mixing and pouring.
Next, children get to make their own slime to take home! All children will make slime simultaneously and get to choose their own colour so there is no time for anyone to lose interest. Children then move on to two more chemistry themed activities (involving bubbles and colour changing pictures) before being given their own science name on a certificate to take home.
This party lasts for around 45 minutes and is recommended for children aged 3-8. The price quoted is for 20 children but extra children can be added at just £2.50 each.

Sweets and Surprises
– Approximately 45 minutes, Recommended for ages 4-11 –
- Potions and eruptions
- Every child makes sherbet to take home
- An exploding lemonade fountain
- Children make and try candyfloss and fizzy drinks
- A certificate for every child with their own science name
This party focuses around all things bright and sweet and is completely E number free! The party includes a mixture of wow factor chemical demonstrations (including colour changing liquids and lemonade rain) and candy creationsscience party.
No one will leave this party empty handed as we will be making our own (additive free!) sherbet to take home. We will also be finding out what puts the fizz into our fizzy drinks and making some of our own. Next we will make candy floss and everyone will have a taste of course! We will also be looking at the science of colours when we make rainbows appear before our very eyes! As with all parties children will be given their very own certificate to take home written out to their brand new science name.

Fantastic Physics
– Approximately 1 hour, Recommended for ages 5-11 –
- Exploding test tubes
- Giant fog rings
- A huge outdoor rocket launch
- Hair raising and lightning on the Van de Graaff generator
- Making a human circuit
- A certificate for every child with their own science name
This is our most active and visual party with big machines, smoke rings, rockets and lots and lots of group interaction.science party
Be amazed as our Van de Graaff generator sticks the children’s hair up on end and generates lighting indoors. Watch smoke rings fly above your head. See an alien launch up to the sky with a pop and make a human circuit. Finally we will do a giant rocket launch outside* before the children are given their own science name on a certificate to take home.
* Requires large outdoor space without cars e.g. park or playing field. If you do not have an outside space don’t worry, just let us know and we can either tether the rocket so that it doesn’t go as high or replace it with another equally mesmerising activity!
This party lasts for around 60 minutes and is recommended for children aged 5-11. The price quoted is for 20 children but extra children can be added at just £2.50 each.

If you want a slightly longer party or can’t decide between slime making and hair raising, book our Chemical/Electrical Extravaganza
All the best bits of our Crazy Chemical Celebration including chemistry demonstrations and slime making as well as a chance for all children to have a go at making themselves into a circuit and raising their hair on our Van de Graaff generator before receiving a certificate with their brand new science name. In this party we move quickly between activities allowing time for everyone to have a go but making sure that there is no time for children to lose interest.

Having a themed party? Our Chemical/Electrical Extravaganza can be adapted to suit your theme at no extra cost. In the past we have run Harry Potter parties, Star Wars parties and Princess parties! In these cases, the activities remain the same but the language we use changes (e.g. the Van de Graaff generator becomes a Wingardium Leviosa machine in a Harry Potter party or a force lightning creator in a Star Wars party!) and we change the colour options for slime making to fit in with the theme. If you are thinking of having a themed party please do let us know and we will see what we can do.

Add party bags to your package and only pay for the number of children that turn up on the day! We have three options, basic, deluxe or book only. Please read below for more information.
Book only – £2 per book
A ‘Horrible Science’ book (RRP £7.99) for every child at your party. Only pay for the number you need on the day. Please note this is just the book and does not come with a bag.
Basic – £2.50 per bag
Popping candy, a pipette (for science experiments at home), a Fun Science balloon, ‘Refresher’ sherbet chew bar, a growing animal and a thank you slip. In a reusable, fabric bag.
Deluxe – £3.50 per bag
A ‘Horrible Science’ book (RRP £7.99), popping candy, a pipette (for science experiments at home), a Fun Science balloon, a ‘Refresher’ sherbet chew bar, a growing animal and a thank you slip. In a reusable, fabric bag.
