Bath May Half Term Holiday Club 2025
Fun Science is back this May half term with some more FUN science! Days are suitable for children aged 4-9* and all sessions are OFSTED registered and have a first aider on site.
This club will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th May from 10am – 3pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Mount View, Southdown, Bath, Somerset, BA2 1JX.
There will be optional ‘stay and play’ hours from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm (£3.50 per child per hour). This needs to be booked in advance and paid for via bank transfer, we no longer accept cash payments on the day.
We are able to accept tax-free childcare and childcare vouchers.
Fun Science provides high quality childcare in the majority of school holidays. We are 5* rated, first aid trained with enhanced DBS checks and a full safeguarding policy.
Tuesday 27th May – Circuit Explorers
In this session, children will be exploring how electrical circuits work in a variety of ways, think inventions, mini robots, a giant human circuit and best of all, use of our exciting Van De Graaff generator!
Wednesday 28th May – Slime Spectacular
This day speaks for itself; it’s a day of making lots of different types of slime! Children will make bouncy slime, fluffy slime, stretchy slime, farting slime, smelly slime and more, looking at what polymers are and how they work.
Thursday 29th May – Colourful Chemistry
Expect a bright and colourful day of eruptions, explosions and experimenting. We love the fun you can have with chemistry, so what better way to explore it than with colourful chemical reactions! Children will be able to explore their interests and try a variety of mixtures to see what happens when they follow their curiosities.
Prices:
First child: £30.00 per day or £82.00 for all 3 days
Siblings: £26.00 per day or £72.00 for all 3 days
Optional – £3.50 per child per “stay and play” hour (Available from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm)
*We are able to accept children from age 4+, providing they are able to go to the toilet and, if needed, get changed by themselves. We do not have the capacity to provide 1:1 care and as such are not able to assist with toileting. In the event of a toileting accident, children will need to be able to get themselves changed. If you have any questions about this policy please do get in touch as we are happy to discuss individual cases. 10 year olds are welcome to join if you think they would enjoy it.
