Fishponds, Bristol Summer Holiday Club 25/26
Fun Science is back this Summer for more FUN science! Days are suitable for children aged 4-10 and there will be a first aider on site.
These clubs will be held on the 12th, 13th & 14th August from 10am – 3pm at Fishponds Old Library, Fishponds C of E Academy, Fishponds Road, Bristol, BS16 3UH.
There will be optional ‘stay and play’ hours from 9am-10am and 3-4pm (£3.50 per child per hour). This needs to be booked and paid for in advance.
Fun Science provides high quality childcare in the majority of school holidays. We are 5* rated, first aid trained with enhanced DBS checks and a full safeguarding policy.
Tuesday 12th August – Slime Spectacular!
This day speaks for itself; it’s a day of making lots of different types of slime! Children will make bouncy slime, fluffy slime, stretchy slime, farting slime, smelly slime and more, looking at what polymers are and how they work.
Wednesday 13th August – Colourful Chemistry!
Expect a bright and colourful day of eruptions, explosions and experimenting. We love the fun you can have with chemistry, so what better way to explore it than with colourful chemical reactions! Children will be able to explore their interests and try a variety of mixtures to see what happens when they follow their curiosities.
Thursday 14th August – Circuit Explorers!
In this session, children will be exploring how electrical circuits work in a variety of ways, think inventions, mini robots, a giant human circuit and best of all, use of our exciting Van De Graaff generator!
Prices:
First child: £32.00 per day, £84.00 for all 3 days
Siblings: £28.00 per day, £75.00 for all 3 days
Optional – £3.50 per child per “stay and play” hour (Available from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm)
We are able to accept children from age 4+, providing they are able to go to the toilet and, if needed, get changed by themselves. We do not have the capacity to provide 1:1 care and as such are not able to assist with toileting. In the event of a toileting accident, children will need to be able to get themselves changed. If you have any questions about this policy please do get in touch as we are happy to discuss individual cases.
