Cheltenham January Holiday Club 2023

Christmas will soon be here, then Boxing Day... and then it will be back to work! Fortunately, Fun Science is here to help fill the gap before the start of a new school term, with two days of science activities on a wintry theme. Diatom Dave, Solar Susie and Galaxy Gemma - all highly experienced and enhanced DBS checked - will welcome children to Bournside School on 4 and 5 January, making sure they have a safe and exciting day, with some treats to take home as well. Together they will send Santa back to Lapland on a rocket, grow giant snow mountains, make fizzing festive potions and create their own festive decorations: * THURSDAY 4 JANUARY: FESTIVE LEFTOVERS - Christmas has passed, but we're still "walking in a winter wonderland"! Expect curiously warm snow, festive smells, brilliant bubbles, freeze-in-the-bag ice cream and lots more during this messy, hands-on day. * FRIDAY 5 JANUARY: SEND SANTA HOME! - We need to send Santa packing back to Lapland! To do so we'll try building a bridge, floating air-powered boats and kitting out a hydraulic rocket, amongst other engineering solutions. Sessions will take place at the venue on Warden Hill Road, GL51 3EF from 10am to 3pm and cost just £30 per child (£55 for both days). There will also be the option of stay-and-play hours (9-10am and 3-4pm) at just £3.50 extra per child per hour. We apologize that we cannot currently accept payment in childcare vouchers.
