• We are part of the British Science Association which ensures that all our activities promote involvement in STEM subjects.
• Our scientists have received science communication training from the Wellcome Trust and Bath Spa University and child protection training from the local authority.
• Our extensive inventory of equipment, including Van de Graff generators, rockets and a wide range of laboratory supplies enables us to provide an experience that goes above and beyond every day teaching.
• Our programmes complement the national curriculum.
• Fun Science Workshops and After School Clubs are run in many local schools and home education groups and are loved by parents, teachers and pupils.
• Fun Science has public liability insurance, all staff are CRB/DBS checked and all activities are risk assessed and safe for the ages they are delivered to.
• We won the Bath Spa business plan award for Best Educational Enterprise and the Best Small Business award at the NatWest Venus awards.
